What age is the program appropriate for?

Classes are written for all primary school students from Foundation through to Grade 6.

While they are labelled under specific year levels, students from older age brackets often enjoy doing those from younger. Year 7 students enjoy the 5/6 Program.

What will my children learn through the program?

Students learn Art History and Theory while completing practical exercises and their own art pieces. Parents also enjoy learning the content.

What does the program cost?

A free 10-day trial is available. If you would like to continue with classes after this, subscription is available from $5 per month. A subscription gives you access to all classes.

How long does each unit take to complete?

It is advised that each unit is delivered over several 1-hour sessions. We recommend that students aim at striving for personal excellence rather than filling time or rushing through the activities.

What materials will we need?

Each unit includes a pre-class checklist of basic art supplies required. If you don’t have any of the materials, you can substitute them for others that you do have.

How can I cancel?

You can cancel at any stage during the trial period and you won’t be charged at all. You can also cancel at any time after this. To cancel your subscription, simply click ‘cancel’ within the subscriptions page.

How do I access further classes after the trial period?

After the trial period, additional classes will automatically become available in each of the year levels.

I have subscribed, where do I find the class content?

Once you have subscribed and logged in, a ‘My Classes’ menu will appear at the top of the website. From here you can select your program and view classes in the ‘Presentation Slider’ dropdown. Additional resources (such as worksheets) and information are also available in the ‘Units of Work’ dropdown. Curriculum and assessment information is only available to schools. Please contact us if you are a teacher and interested in the full schools program.

Who wrote the program?

Karen Murphy has been an Art Teacher for over 35 years. She has taught in Primary and Secondary Schools in Australia and Internationally and believes all students can produce great quality work and that they enjoy learning about Art history when it is presented with a hands-on approach. She wrote this program across several years to be delivered in schools. It has now been adapted to be delivered in the home by families.

The top or the Presentation Sliders sometimes get cut off, how can I fix this?

Unfortunately, sometimes the top of the slides can appear to be cut off. To fix this, simply adjust your window to a smaller size and the whole slider will be seen.

How do you move through the Presentation Sliders?

The presentation Sliders are operated by clicking on the green arrows at the left and right of the image screen.
